Hello, I have a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500. The blower motor works on settings 1,2,3,4, but does not work on setting five. I have been advised that it was probably the blower motor resistor. However, when I purchased and installed the new resistor, the blower did the same exact thing.I think that this part is the same as the blower resistor on older vehicles.
